Ademruimte (Breathing Space in English) is a new spatial concept based on a design method what we call ‘feedback architecture’. With feedback architecture we measure physiological signals like breathing and heart rate in a non-invasive way and convert these into interactive ambient environments of sound and light.
We develop state of the art breathing spaces in which we integrate and combine architecture, interior design, technology and health sciences. By applying interactivity and generative art, we create spaces that calm the body and mind.
We are a group of architects, interior designers, health workers, scientists, sound artists and interactive designers. We focus on development of consciousness through innovative design and the use of modern technologies.
